Wear comfortable and flexible clothing; warmer clothing during cooler months and/or light blanket if desired.
For private in-studio sessions, a pillow and mat will be provided but you may also bring your own. For group sessions, please bring your own mat or comforter, and pillow.
Keeping your body hydrated and well-nourished by eating only lightly before your session will enhance the experience.
Arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your sound bath, giving you time to get comfortable and calm your mind. For sessions at the Lotus Studio, please do not arrive earlier than 10 minutes before your session.
For sessions at guest locations arrive 15-20 minutes prior to your sound bath. Doors usually open 20 to 30 minutes prior to the start time. Late entry is not permitted.
Perfumes and colognes are discouraged due to scent allergies and sensitivities.
Mindfulness is the first step in preparing for a sound bath. Being aware of your state of mind prior in order to clear your mind during a sound bath will enhance the benefits of sound healing.
Set your intentions for the experience and be positive.
If you have epilepsy or other neurological conditions that might make exposure to prolonged and potentially loud vibrations dangerous, consult your physician prior to attending a sound bath. Thank You.
Sound healing is best received while lying down in a comfortable position. We request that all attendees bring their own yoga mats, pillows, blankets, bolsters if desired, etc. Eye masks will be provided. *If you do not have a yoga mat, a sleeping bag pad or comforter are good -and often preferable substitutes. Seating will also be available. This policy applies to all public and private events unless otherwise specified or pre-arrangements are made. Mats, pillows, and blankets will be provided for studio sessions. Please contact us with any questions or special requests for yourself or group. We want to ensure you have the best experience possible so please come prepared!
