What is a Sound Bath?
Sound Bath, also referred to as sound healing and sound immersion, is a holistic health practice that “bathes” participants in sound waves produced by traditional and modern deep-tone instruments, often tuned to specific frequencies. The effect is a multi-sensory, meditative, and deeply relaxing experience that can promote a wide range of immediate and long-term physical, emotional, spiritual, and healing benefits. Sound healing is a safe and effective way to support any journey towards improved health, well-being, and/or pursuit of personal peace and harmony.
What is a Lotus Sound Bath?
Douglas Cardwell brings over 30 years of professional and orchestral experience to the realm of sound healing, and the unique framework from which to explore and expand on the complexity, best practices, applications, and ultimately, the diverse experiences reported by attendees of Lotus events, programs, and private sessions.
Immerse yourself in a purely instrumental meditation guided by the rich tones and gentle vibrations of tuned quartz crystal singing bowls, symphonic gongs, hand-made chimes, and other select specialty instruments, to affect a deep full-body relaxation while wrapped in the embrace of the present moment.
Lotus Sound Bath events bring people together to unplug from the outside world and share in a unique experience that can be as personal as it is communal. Every session is different, but participants regularly report feeling rested, energized, focused, peaceful, less pain, and less 'stressed', to name a few.
